Today, Senate Republican leadership announced committee assignments for the 84th General Assembly which convenes on January 10, 2011. Senator-elect Sandy Greiner (R-Keota) was selected as ranking member of the Senate Economic Growth Committee.
"I'm looking forward to working with my fellow Republican leaders to help grow sustainable jobs in Iowa through economic growth," said Greiner. "This committee is a crucial one right now. We need to break down the barriers that are prohibiting and preventing business growth and work to pass meaningful legislation that works for Iowans."
